
SENIOR Tasmanian financial planner and adviser Rod Scurrah has been made a Fellow of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.
Mr Scurrah is a senior adviser with leading Tasmanian financial advisory firm Aequis and has more than 35 years experience in the profession.
His considerable skill and expertise was recognised by the Financial Planning Association with a National Value of Advice Award in 2006.
A long-time resident of Hobart's eastern shore, Mr Scurrah is passionate about his local community and Tasmanian business affairs.
"This is a fantastic honour and a great reward for providing professional advice to help people plan effectively for theirs and their families future," Mr Scurrah said.
Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Planning Association of Australia Jo-Anne Bloch said Mr Scurrah had been recognised for his many years service to the financial planning profession.
"Rod Scurrah's contribution is much appreciated and highly regarded," Ms Bloch said.
